An Interest Group has been set up for Classroom Assistants in Mainstream Schools who work with pupils with a physical disability.
Our aim is to meet informally during the academic year to discuss different areas of interest which relate to the needs of the pupil.
We plan to meet again on Thursday 22nd April 2010 3.15-4.30pm at Fleming Fulton School.
We have asked Mrs Marion Bradley to speak on the subject 'Physical Disability-A Parent's Perspective'
This is a great opportunity for staff to meet other classroom assistans and gain insight into the complexity of physical disability from a parents point of view.
If you are interested in attending please contact THe Liac Office.
